EX-RAY Q is an X-Ray & Photo Development Equipment Drain Cleaner. This new technology was developed to clean out slow flowing or plugged drains. EX-RAY Q contains sodium bisulfate that is part of a slow acting chemical complex to be used as part of a preventive maintenance program. If a blockage occurs, it may take some time to open drains. Small frequent treatments work best.
Directions For Use: The frequency and quantities of EX-RAY- Q required for a given location can only be determined by trial and error. While dilute mineral acids work much faster, these materials present significant handling and storage problems. EX-RAY-Q is a necessary addition to a proper preventive maintenance program at any facility that uses x-ray, MRI or photographic developing equipment. The development process flushes a high quantity of dissolved minerals such as silver down the drains. The minerals will begin to form scale on the inside of the plumbing pipes and rapidly build up to a level where stoppages occur on a regular basis. The only effective method of keeping the drains free-flowing is preventive maintenance using EX-RAY-Q. Other more dangerous chemicals may increase the flow of the drains once plugged, but EX-RAYQ dissolves the buildup that is the source of the problem without the hazards associated with other treatments. Small dosages of EX-RAY-Q once or twice a week (depending on the volume of film processing) will eliminate inconvenient drain problems.
