Grape Float - Floating Lift Station Degreaser

A degreaser and deodorizer manufactured for use specifically in wastewater processing. Contains a unique grape scent for covering malodors often associated with sewage. A floating degreaser. Does not contain any acids and is alkali-free. Non-freezing. May be used year-round. Designed to clean lift stations, eliminate grease balls, and keep digesters from sticking.

This specialized formulation is a floating solvent system possessing degreasing and deodorizing properties. With a powerful, long-lasting grape fragrance, this product cleans vertical surfaces in lift stations, wet wells, and similar treatment facilities. Add it directly to wet wells, and it cleans and degreases as the water level fluctuates. It also “seals” offensive odors by containing odors emitted from lift stations. Grape Float makes an excellent general-purpose degreaser and asphalt release agent.

Lift Stations: Switch to manual operation, pump completely down, and add 20 gallons of Grape Float for every 500 gallons in the lift station. Let it rise to the maximum, then switch back to automatic operation.

Digesters: Add 20 gallons of Grape Float for each foot of scum and let sit for 20 minutes. Agitate or recirculate the digester.

Trickling Filter: Simply apply with a sprayer.

Overall Plant: Drip into influent at the rate of 1/2 to 1 1/2 ppm.
