Customers and employees often view restrooms as a measure of overall facility cleanliness. Therefore, it is crucial to develop & follow an effective program of restroom management. In addition to restocking supplies such as hand soap, etc., I'd like to suggest some of the advances in restroom cleaning technology.
The "Touchless Cleaning Systems" are raising the standards in promoting public health. Since labor is the biggest expense, the touch-free systems help, by automatically injecting pre-measured cleaner/germicide, into water pathways or urinals and commodes. The automated cleaning prevents bacterial growth while eliminating the labor previously needed to manually apply a germicidal cleaner to critical surfaces.
Toilets that flush automatically are another way to reduce labor, prevent cross-contamination, improve public health, control odors and save water and lower maintenance. Because there is no need to clean contaminated flush handles, labor and disinfectant costs are lowered. Programmed flush intervals can reduce soiling and odors from unflushed urinals and commodes. Since users don't touch a flush lever, germs are not spread. Additionally, valves last longer because flush handles are not kicked by users, afraid of picking up germs. Our units also offer a sewer seal feature, causing the toilet to flush once every 24 hours if not used, preventing sewer gases from escaping through an open drain trap.
Chemex also offers touchless automatic faucets. Retrofitting touchless cleaning systems to existing fixtures is simple, requiring few mechanical skills. The savings and sanitation results can be significant.
