This drain opener contains powerful caustic granules activated with aluminum needles. When added to water in a drain or sewer, it releases large amounts of heat and turbulence to liquefy, dissolve and loosen animal and vegetable fats and oils, hair, paper, organic matter and other materials that clog drains and sewer lines. To clear municipal sewers, use about 25 pounds per manhole. Industrial drains use 2-3 pounds. In food plants where accumulations of organic matter are high, use 5 to 8 pounds.

Pour into septic tanks, wet wells, drain fields to eliminate odor and grease build-up. To open clogged or slowed drains, add 1 pint, allow to act for 30 minutes, then flush with hot water. For regular maintenance and deodorizing, add 4 ounces each week.
